Born and raised in New Orleans, Jonathan Anthony Roberts has always believed in the power of being rooted in community. As a father and a proud graduate of George Washington Carver, he understands how quality education can shape the future of our youth. Jonathan also holds a Bachelor's degree in Business with a concentration in Economics from The American Military University.
He has served his country with honor and remains deeply committed to serving his city. Jonathan has played key roles in New Orleans—as an educator, mentor, and community leader. From the classroom to local organizations like National Black Men Build, he has consistently shown what it means to put people first. Whether in schools or community centers, he has worked to connect families with the resources and opportunities they need to thrive in the neighborhoods where they live, work, and play.
Today, he’s running to represent District E on the New Orleans City Council—with a mission to bring the voices of everyday people into the decision-making rooms of City Hall. His vision is simple: leadership rooted in service, not status.
